This guide shows you how to set, change or reset your password on the web. Every account can sign in with a link we email you. To find your password settings, go to Profile, and look at the Password card. It shows whether Password sign-in is Set or Not set. If it says Not set, select Email me a link to set one. To change your password, select Change password. Enter your current password in the first box. Then enter a new password of at least eight characters, and type it again in Confirm new password. Saving signs out your other devices, including the iPhone app. Your current device stays signed in. If you enter the wrong current password five times, wait a quarter of an hour, or reset your password instead. Then select Change password to save. If you have forgotten your current password, select Forgot your current password. We email you a reset link. The Password card confirms that it is on its way. If you are signed out, select Sign in with password, then Forgot password. Enter your email address, then select Send reset link. Then check your email. Open the email called Reset your Verve Lead password, and select Reset Password within an hour. The link opens Choose a new password. Enter your new password in New password, and again in Confirm password. Then select Set new password. Setting a password signs you out everywhere, including this device, so sign in again with your new password. If the reset email does not arrive, check your spam or junk folder first. We only send a few reset emails to one address each hour, and ten each day. If you have asked several times, wait an hour, or up to a day, before you ask again. We email you whenever your password changes. If it was not you, select Reset your password in that email. The Verve Lead app for iPhone and iPad is in testing. Its steps are in the written guide. If you still need help, contact us.

You never need a password for Verve Lead. Every account can sign in with a link we email you.

A password lets you sign in without waiting for an email. You can set one, change it or reset it whenever you like.

Where do I find my password settings?

On the web, go to Profile. The Password card shows whether Password sign-in is Set or Not set.

On iPhone and iPad, go to Settings, then find Password. The Verve Lead app for iPhone and iPad is in testing.

Setting a password for the first time

You set your first password through an email link. That way, only someone who can open your email can add a password to your account.

  1. Go to Profile, then Password, and select Email me a link to set one.
  2. Open the email called “Reset your Verve Lead password” and select Reset Password. The link lasts an hour.
  3. On the Choose a new password page, enter your new password in New password and again in Confirm password. It needs at least 8 characters.
  4. Select Set new password.
  5. The sign-in page opens and says “Password updated”. Sign in with your new password.
The page the email link opens.

Setting a password signs you out everywhere, including the app on your iPhone. That is why you sign in again at the end.

You can also start from the sign-in page. Select Sign in with password, then Forgotten your password, or never set one?

On iPhone and iPad

  1. Go to Settings. Under Password, tap Set a password.
  2. The app says “Check your email”. Open the email and tap the link. It opens in your browser.
  3. Choose your new password there, then go back to the app.
  4. The app asks you to sign in again. Use an emailed link, or your new password if the app shows Password sign-in.

Changing your password

You need your current password to change it. If you have forgotten it, reset it instead – see the next section.

On the web:

  1. Go to Profile. In the Password card, select Change password.
  2. Enter your Current password.
  3. Enter a New password of at least 8 characters, and type it again in Confirm new password.
  4. Select Change password.

When you change your password, the device you are using stays signed in. Your other devices are signed out, whether that is the app or the web. Sign in again on each one.

If you enter the wrong current password 5 times, wait a quarter of an hour before trying again, or reset your password instead.

What if I have forgotten my password?

If you are signed out, on the web:

  1. On the sign-in page, select Sign in with password, then Forgot password?
  2. Enter your Email address and select Send reset link.
  3. Open the email called “Reset your Verve Lead password” and select Reset Password within an hour.
  4. Choose your new password, then sign in with it.
Ask for a reset link.

In the app, type your email address in the Email box on the sign-in screen. Then, under Password sign-in, tap Forgotten your password? The link in the email opens in your browser. Choose your new password there, then sign in to the app again. If the app does not show Password sign-in, use the web steps above.

If you are still signed in on the web, go to Profile, select Change password, then Forgot your current password? We email you a reset link.

Resetting your password signs you out everywhere, including the device you are using.
