Someone you know has asked for your feedback on their Health of a Christian Leader Assessment. You do not need an account or anything to install. The request comes by email from Verve Lead. Its subject names the leader, and the email names your relationship to them. Select Provide Feedback to open your page. The link lasts 14 days. Anyone with it can answer, so keep the email to yourself. First, the page tells you who will see your answers. The leader sees each answer, labelled with your relationship to them, such as Peer. Each section covers one thing the leader does, with 4 to 6 statements. For each statement, choose a number from 1 to 4. One means not true of them. Four means very true of them. Think about the past month, and read each statement as the leader would say it. When every statement in the section has an answer, select Next. Select Previous to go back. Your answers stay. There are 25 sections. The bar at the top shows your progress. In the last section, select Submit Feedback. It only works once every statement has an answer. Your answers are only saved when you submit. If you refresh before then, you lose them. The page thanks you, and confirms that the leader can now see your answers. Once you submit, you cannot change your answers. If the page says Unable to Load, the reason is written underneath. For example, Invalid or expired invitation means the link is incomplete, or the leader has replaced or cancelled it. If the leader sends the invitation again, you get a reminder with a new link. If you would rather not answer, that is your choice. It is kind to let the leader know. To stop all invitations from Verve Lead, select Stop invitation emails at the foot of the email. Thank you for taking the time. Your honest answers help the leader see themselves as others do.

Someone you know has asked for your feedback on their Health of a Christian Leader Assessment. They answer 125 statements about themselves. You answer the same statements about them, so they can see themselves as others see them.
You do not need an account, and there is nothing to install. You answer on a web page, through a private link in your email.
What does the invitation look like?
The email comes from Verve Lead. Its subject line names the leader and says they have requested your feedback. The email names your relationship to the leader. You were asked as one of these:
- their spouse
- their supervisor
- their peer or colleague
- someone they lead.
It also tells you, before you begin, that the leader will see how you answered.
Select Provide Feedback to open your page. The link lasts 14 days. Anyone with the link can answer in your place, so please keep the email to yourself.
Who will see my answers?
The page tells you before the first question. The leader will see how you answered each statement. Your answers carry a label for your relationship to them – Spouse, Supervisor, Peer or Direct report – rather than your name.
The leader chose who to invite, so they will know you have responded. If you are their spouse, or the only supervisor, peer or direct report they asked, the label points straight to you. Please answer honestly, and with the care you would want for yourself.
How do I answer?
- Read the note at the top about who will see your answers.
- Work through the sections. Each one covers a behavioural expression – something a leader does – with 4–6 statements.
- For each statement, choose how true it is of the leader, from 1 (Not true of them) to 4 (Very true of them). Think about the past month.
- When every statement in the section has an answer, select Next. Previous takes you back.
- In the last section, select Submit Feedback.
There are 25 sections in all. The bar at the top shows how many statements you have answered and which section you are in.
What happens when I submit?
- The page thanks you and confirms that the leader can now see your answers.
- We email you to say your feedback has arrived.
- We email the leader to say you have responded. The email uses the name they gave for you, if they gave one.
- Your answers join the leader’s scores, averaged with their own answers and anyone else’s.
You can only answer once. After you submit, you cannot change your answers.
What if the link does not work?
The page says Unable to Load, with the reason underneath.
| What it says | What it means |
|---|---|
| This invitation has expired | More than 14 days have passed. Ask the leader to send it again. |
| You have already submitted feedback | Your answers are in. There is nothing more to do. |
| Invalid or expired invitation | The link is incomplete, or the leader has replaced or cancelled it. Look for a newer email from Verve Lead, or ask the leader. |
When the leader sends the invitation again, you get a reminder email with a new link that lasts another 14 days. The earlier link stops working.
What if I would rather not answer?
That is your choice. If you leave the email, the leader sees the invitation as waiting until the link expires. It is kind to let them know yourself.
To stop all invitations from Verve Lead, select Stop invitation emails at the foot of the email, then Stop these emails. This covers invitations to give feedback, to be mentored and to join an organisation. If someone tries to invite you again, we tell them you have asked not to receive invitations. Emails you ask for yourself, such as a sign-in link, still arrive.
