This video shows you how to change your organisation’s name, logo and colours in Verve Lead. Only an administrator can change these settings. Start on your dashboard. Select Organisation in the sidebar. Then select Settings, in the row of tabs along the top. The Settings page has two panels. General holds your organisation’s name and logo. Brand Colours holds your colours. The page says these colours are used for reports and emails. At the moment, they are not. First, select the Organisation name box. Type the new name. This example uses Riverside Community Church. To use your own logo, paste its web address into the Logo URL box. The address should start with https, and it must point to the image itself. You cannot upload a logo file here, so the image must already be online. This example uses a sample logo. A preview appears under the box. Your logo loads from that address, so that website can see each time someone’s browser loads it. Under Brand Colours, select the Primary colour box. Type a colour code, or use the colour box. This example uses a dark green. The accent colour is optional. It is saved, but nothing uses it at the moment. Nothing changes until you select Save changes. Select Save changes. The page says Settings saved. The sidebar now shows your logo, on your primary colour. Everyone in your organisation sees these changes in the web app. To go back to the Verve Lead logo, empty the Logo URL box, then save.

Your organisation’s settings hold its name, its logo and its colours. Administrators change them in the web app.
Where do I find the settings?
Go to Organisation, then Settings.
How do I change them?
- Under General, change the Organisation name if you need to.
- To use your own logo, paste its web address into Logo URL. A preview appears under the box.
- Under Brand Colours, choose a Primary colour. Use the colour box, or type a colour code such as #6D4C9F.
- Select Save changes. The page says Settings saved.
Nothing changes until you select Save changes.
What should I use for the logo?
The logo must already be online – for example, on your own website. Paste the address of the image itself, starting with https://. You cannot upload a file here.
Your logo sits at the top of the web app’s sidebar, on your primary colour, in place of the Verve Lead logo. The sidebar shows it small, so a simple white or light version usually reads best.
To go back to the Verve Lead logo, empty the box and save.
Where do the name, logo and colour appear?
| Setting | Where it appears |
|---|---|
| Organisation name | Throughout the web app. In the emails we send for your organisation, such as invitations. On the page people see when they scan your join code. |
| Logo URL | At the top of the web app’s sidebar, for everyone in your organisation. On your join-code slides. |
| Primary colour | The web app’s sidebar and some of its buttons, for everyone in your organisation. The coloured panel on your join-code slides. |
| Accent colour | Saved, but nothing uses it at the moment. |
The page says your brand colours are used for reports and emails. At the moment they are not – PDF reports and emails keep Verve Lead’s own look.
The Verve Lead app for iPhone and iPad is in testing. It keeps Verve Lead’s own look too.
What else is on this page?
- Slug is a short form of your organisation’s name, set when your organisation was created. You cannot change it here.
- Country is where your organisation is based. If you change it, the audit log records the change. If the page will not let you change it, contact us.
The audit log does not record changes to the name, logo or colours.
What is not on this page?
Some choices apply to your whole organisation, and only Verve Lead can change them. They include whether people see the daily check-in, the Health of a Christian Leader Assessment and the Christian Leader Mentor Assessment (CLMA) in the web app. To change one, contact us.
To change people’s roles, see managing members and roles.
