This is your dashboard. It is the page you usually see after you sign in. On the web, it is called Dashboard. The sidebar on the left takes you everywhere else. You see Mentees if you are a mentor, a confidant or an administrator. Organisation administrators also see Organisation. The Wellbeing watchlist appears only if you have a care role, and only when someone in your care is flagged. Your Mentor shows your mentor’s name and email address. HCLA Overview shows your latest completed assessment, with an overall score and a score for each area. Recommended for you shows one article, chosen for your latest results. ‘How buoyant are you today?’ shows when you last checked in. Buoyancy shows your latest check-in, your average and your trend over the last 30 days. Select View Details to see your recent check-ins and your trend. The question mark at the top of most pages opens short help articles. Select a link on a card to go further.
Narration is AI-generated. Every screen is from our demo environment – an invented organisation and people.
Your dashboard is home base. It gathers your check-in, your latest results, your mentor and anything waiting on you.
On the web it is called Dashboard. In the iPhone and iPad app it is called Home.
How do I find my way around the web app?
The sidebar on the left takes you everywhere. What it shows depends on your role in your organisation.
| In the sidebar | Who sees it |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Everyone |
| Mentees | Mentors, mentors of mentors, confidants and administrators |
| Organisation | Organisation administrators |
| Assessments | Everyone |
| Profile | Everyone |
At the bottom of the sidebar are your name and role, and the button to sign out. At the top of most pages, the question mark opens short help articles.
On a phone browser, the sidebar is tucked away. Tap the menu button at the top left to open it.
If you belong to more than one organisation, a list at the top of the sidebar lets you choose which one you are looking at. Switching organisation explains how.
What does each card show?
Cards only appear when they have something to say, so your dashboard may not have all of these.
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Your first step | Until you complete your first Health of a Christian Leader Assessment, this card helps you start it. If a mentor has asked to connect, it is called Your first steps and also lets you respond. |
| Mentor request | A mentor has asked to connect with you. You can Accept or Decline. |
| Wellbeing watchlist | For people with a care role, anyone in their care who may need support. View full watchlist opens the whole list. |
| Your Mentor | Your mentor’s name and email address. |
| HCLA Overview | Your latest completed assessment: an overall score and a score for each of the 3 areas, as percentages. View Full Results opens the full report. |

| How buoyant are you today? | When you last checked in, and the Check in now button. |
| Buoyancy | Your latest check-in, with your average, number of check-ins and trend over the last 30 days. View Details shows your recent check-ins and trend. |
Once your last assessment is 180 days old, the HCLA Overview card suggests it may be time to check your health again. Select Take HCLA to start.
How does it change with my role?
As a leader, your dashboard is about you: your check-in, your results, your mentor and your reading.
As a mentor, you also see a Wellbeing watchlist when someone in your care may need support. It appears for mentors, mentors of mentors, confidants and anyone with duty of care, and only when someone is flagged. The watchlist and pastoral care explains what it looks at.
As an administrator, your dashboard is still your own. The organisation pages are under Organisation in the sidebar. The organisation dashboard covers them.
On iPhone and iPad
The Verve Lead app for iPhone and iPad is in testing.
Home greets you and shows how you are travelling:
- Your first step – the same starting card as on the web, until you complete your first assessment.
- A note when a mentor has asked to connect. Tap Respond to answer.
- A note when a colleague has asked for your feedback. Tap it to go to Assessments.
- Buoyancy – your latest check-in, your 30-day average and whether you are rising, falling or steady, with a Check in now button.
- Assessments – where your latest assessments are up to, and your score once you complete one. The app labels the Health of a Christian Leader Assessment Healthy Christian Leader.
Pull down on Home to refresh it.
Along the bottom of the iPhone are the tabs Home, Buoyancy, Assessments and Settings. Mentors, administrators and people with a watchlist also see Mentoring. On the iPhone and iPad, the watchlist sits in Mentoring rather than on Home.
If your organisation has switched daily check-ins off, the Buoyancy tab does not appear.
On iPad, the same sections sit in a sidebar on the left. The organisation pages are only on the web.
